The Center for Family and Cosmetic Dentistry has been serving the Colorado Springs Community since 1934.  It all started with The Center for Family and Cosmetic Dentistry has been serving the Colorado Springs Community since 1934, starting with Dr. Paul E. BrownDr. Paul E. Brown.  Dr. Brown was born in 1903, back when toothbrushes were still made from hollow animal hairs.  At the University of Denver he was a member of Xi Psi Phi.  In 1925 Dr Brown graduated from Colorado College of Dentistry, University of Denver.

After obtaining his dental degree, Dr Brown practiced in Cody, Wyoming, (which is named after William Fredrick Cody, better known as Buffalo Bill.  In 1926 Dr Brown returned to the Springs and began his career at the National Bank Building that still stands today.  In 1934 he started The Center for Family and Cosmetic Dentistry on Willamette Street.

Dr Paul Brown was a member of many local clubs, including serving as the president of the downtown Lions Club.  He was a prestigious member of the community and created a foundation of roots for the Dr Dunn continues to provide care in the Longmont, Colorado area.practice that have stood over the decades.

After more than 50 years of practicing dentistry Dr Brown retired and passed his practice to Dr. Jack Dunn.  The downtown office continued to thrive and shortly thereafter the office was moved to our current location.  We still treat many of Dr Dunn’s patients to this day, (who all agree that he is an exceptional and caring dentist.)  Dr Dunn continues to provide care in the Longmont, Colorado area.

In 2006 the practice was acquired by Dr. Andrew Miller.  Dr Miller hails from a large family in the Midwest.  After finishing  an undergraduate degree in Biology and Chemistry from the University of Nebraska, he attended the Medical Center and received his doctorate of Dental Surgery.  For three years, he worked in a cosmetic practice with an emphasis on full mouth rehabilitation in Littleton, CO.   In 2003 he transitioned to Colorado Springs to work with a family practice that emphasized Orthodontics and TMJ Disorders.  Dr Miller’s Post Doctoral continuing education includes Cosmetic Dentistry, Cleft Pallet Surgery, Bonding, Root Canals, Conscious Sedation, Pediatric Dentistry, Periodontal non-surgical and surgical treatment, Implant Placement and Restoration.  He is a member of the Colorado Springs Dental Society, American Dental Association, and Colorado Dental Association.

Dr Brown, as you can see, made a large footprint in Colorado Springs and we are proud to carry that same tradition.  Thank you, Dr Brown for beginning the legacy of compassionate, superior dental care for the Colorado Srings community.
